    I LOVE Comme un boomerang that she sang with Etienne Daho a few years ago- she even sounds like marianne faithfull on that one! But I had no idea it was written by Gainsbourg for the Eurovision- no wonder it's so good! Thanks for the link to the Dani article.

    I think I prefer the Dani version better - she's such a sexpot - but April March has such a cute voice, it's not even true. :-) Anyone else notice that the verse part of the song sounds rather like the Sex pistols' 'Submission'?

    Davecat - agree on both counts. The original is just so fantastic, but I like the cutesy American retro vibe April brings to her yeye covers. Just had a listen to 'Submission', and you're right - good call!

    Mordi - it's hard to imagine that song in Eurovision. Have you heard Serge's version?
