Chances are, if you hear 'underrated' and 'Australian band' in the same sentence, someone will be talking about ex-Brisbane, now Melbourne band Minimum Chips. This video for their track 'Goodbye' from their recently released debut full-length album Kitchen Tea Thankyou is a bit of a Spiked Candy exclusive, I believe, hot off the reel (well, lukewarm - there was a bit of a delay due to my bloggers' block, sorry). It was filmed around Melbourne by the talented duo of Megan Voevodin and Philippa Knack, and I think you'll agree the Super 8 format beautifully suits the gentle feel of the tune. (This would have been a good song for the 'Lazy Sunday' category, but my Sunday was a little too lazy to get it up in time).
This quote from the Age's review of Kitchen Tea Thankyou nicely sums up the album:
A dozen pieces of gently psychedelic electronica variously conjure up the digital glaze of a Japanese metropolis or the romantic haze of 1960s Paris. This is visionary, trippy and playful music, distinguished by the breathy, austere voice of Nicole Thibault.

And if you're old-fashioned and like to have CD artwork or want to go to that special part of heaven that's reserved for people who give money to good bands, try here or here.

Even though I write a fair bit on other sites eg last.fm, it's a bit easier than doing this because I can touch-type and just let my focus go. It's trying to concentrate on putting stuff on the page here, looking for info that can really blow me out. And then if I use up all my energy doing that, I don't have any left to really enjoy music - and that's the biggest block, because I don't want to do this when my heart's not in it.
I'll take it slowly, but it may be sparse for a while. I did find a medicine (French, of course!) that was helping a little so once I get a fresh supply of that, maybe I can do a bit more.
I really have enjoyed doing this, but it's hard when it becomes a struggle... I was always stretching myself to do it though.
Here's a recent news item that I think explains a lot about what happens in CFS, and I believe this is relevant to my own case:

What's the use of this (late) correction? None really...
But it does give me an opportunity to wish you all the best and say I miss your posts. Hope all's well with you :)
